It is an amazing thing to see ourselves on what seems a repeat cycle, seeing that we have been through this before and cannot comprehend where the ‘other’ does not see this also. But they just go on into what ‘they’ want, it isn’t affecting them…yet.
The hardest thing for me to understand was…it is in fact being repeated, so that I could ‘see’ me. My fears I projected of me being rejected…put into place my actions to protect me…were in fact pushing the ‘other’ away. And it is a hard thing to see, let alone admit. And yes, what they do truly affects us…but, so that we can see what we are doing…as they need to see what ‘they’ are doing also.
Almost feels like a washing machine on repeat by relationship 3 or 4. But a fear has a purpose, to show us ‘us’. And go beyond them in understanding them. We will always react to a treatment by another that upsets us. Everyone does. But the answer is in admitting to ourselves why that pain is created.
Find that common denominator in each relationship, especially the one with our parents. Find how that treatment makes you feel, truly feel in those actions. And in their our answer will lay.
Daring to speak to your heart Samantha is truly going into that path, finding that pain, as our voices face us very strongly in doing so. And your doing well.
