We don’t love ourselves because of our fears, those things we hold tight to from our childhood. So then we attract someone who will love us…but loves us fearfully too…and reflects that to us. So we want them to love us ‘our way’ (with those expectations we build), so that we don’t feel that fear…but they cannot do that because it drags them into ‘their fears’. So a soulful love holds us there until we face those things within ourselves. If we dare to look back over all our relationships, they all touch that place within us, even if from many directions or ways. And as tough as it is, you are being gently nudged to understand that conditional love we place on ourselves in those fears, and through that finally understand what unconditional love is. It is a hard path…but it is a very beautiful one when finally reached. And when seen it will amaze that each and every step, and I mean all of them, was teaching that love, giving it to you very unconditionally because it has always just been you who reached it. Lots of sign posts everywhere…but ever you to take a step on that path. It is the only way to reach what we ever look for in our lives, that love and happiness.
